I agree with those. I would also add that the second relay cannot be declarer's first suit. E.g. 
1\S-1N / 2\H-2\S is just a non-invitational 3 card preference to \S, and at most a singleton \H. (The hand cannot be invitational, as in that case there was a 5 card minor to bid -- although this logic could be applied to the non-passed hand, too...)
1\D-1N-2\C-2\D is also not second relay, it may have 4\D, did not want to bypass the 5-3 or 5-4 fit in a major.
